 Well I think you’ve figured it out… The server is the place where you put your web pages on . . .

So the server is the main computer which contains your web pages, my web pages, and others web pages.

Nowadays with all sites all over the world there’ll be a lot of servers out there with a lot of specifications and advantages… and disadvantages of course.

The possible differences between the servers are the operating system they use (Linux, windows…, etc) and the hard ware and its specification (the manufacture for example).
